Ready for action in a double pack
ZIEGLER delivers HLF 20 and TLF 4000 to Langenselbold
The fire department of Langenselbdold is boosting its operational readiness with two new ZIEGLER firefighting vehicles. In August, two firefighting vehicles (HLF 20 and TLF 4000) were handed over to the municipal authorities of Langenselbold.
Both vehicles were designed to the highest technical standards and equipped with state-of-the-art ZIEGLER technology. The robust ALPAS superstructure of the latest generation and the intelligent Z-Control operating concept ensure optimum operational readiness – even under extreme conditions.
HLF 20 – Versatility for every application
The new HLF 20 is based on a MAN TGM 13.320 4×4 chassis with 320 HP and, with a gross vehicle weight of 16 tons, provides the necessary power for demanding operations. With space for a crew of 1+8 (passenger seat incl. PA mount) and a 1,600 liter water tank, the vehicle is ideal for firefighting and rescue operations. A ZIEGLER FPN 10-2000-1H centrifugal fire pump, the modern Bird-View 360° cam-era system, as well as LED lighting elements Z-Vision and a winch with 50 kN pulling force round off the equipment package.
TLF 4000 – Maximum extinguishing capacity
A TLF 4000 on a MAN TGM 18.320 4×4 chassis with 320 HP was also handed over. The vehicle has a 5,500 liter water tank and an additional 500 liters of foam concentrate – sufficient extinguishing agent for extensive firefighting operations, even in rough terrain. The built-in ZIEGLER FPN 10-3000-1H pump and the Foam System 24 proportioning system enable flexible and effective firefighting. Other highlights include the pneumatic light mast and the ALCO turret, including foldable fall protection. Both vehicles feature the standardized pump control panel (SPBF), Z-Vision lighting concept, the hygiene board PUSH for operational hygiene, and a variety of safety and operational features.
